NY to El Lay If you feel it, Let it happen Home // @Glitterhikki // Self |
this breaks my heart a lil.
I’m really blessed that I’m one of the lucky ones here.
But even still.. I had to pay aloooooooot of money to have a chance at being lucky and getting all the classes I needed.
I passed by today and it was crazy who knew this stuff would happen at school =( (happening at school not my video)
One of my friends was hit. and she did nothing. OCCUPY.
My alma mater is currently in turmoil. The UC regents are present on campus discussing the budget. I had a class today and honestly could NOT find parking because of all the press and police. (so obviously I left and said fk it. Lol)
As I read about the ongoing hostilities, my heart breaks for all the current and future students of the University of California system. School is supposed to be a relatively safe place. The fact that we pay all this money and students are being hit by authorities during a peaceful protest is absolutely unessecary and completely asinine.I’m lucky I graduated when I did, otherwise I’d be in a deep and inevitable debt. The budget is truely ludicrous and I admire the couragous students who stand firm and occupy UCR right now.
The UCs are seeing some of their highest application rates, budget is truly a crisis. But regents really needs to get their priorities straight with what they spend on. I hope this doesnt discourage future applicants, because the education UC system is one of the best on the west coast.
If you know you were wrong, i would go every way in my path to let the person know i was wrong and i was sorry… then if she doesnt accept the...
